RIVERAIN OUTDOOR BOWLS CLUB

The outdoor Bowls Club was founded in 1990 and provides bowls facilities for those wishing to play bowls on grass in the summer months when the sun is (hopefully) shining. It has a 6-rink green, its own clubhouse, membership and leadership and is situated adjacent to the indoor club building. The club are affiliated to Bowls England, Hertfordshire Bowls Association & Letchworth and District Bowls Association and members can enjoy playing in friendly competition, local and district leagues, county and national competitions as well an internal club competitions amongst members.

You are invited to come and join us at the Riverain Outdoor Bowls Club this summer
season, which begins on Saturday 18th April 2026.

All ages and abilities are welcome.

We offer:
• tuition and introduction to outdoor bowls
• friendly matches
• league competitions (ladies, mens, mixed)
• club competitions
• clubhouse with amenities
• discounted membership fee for first year.

Our outdoor club have around 40 members and host regular social events at the clubhouse, both during the summer and the winter close season including quiz night race nights and social trips.

Changing rooms and toilets for men and ladies are provided on site and the clubhouse has ample seating and can provide snacks, sandwiches, tea, coffee and biscuits plus beers, cider and wine for those post match refreshments.

The club are always on the lookout for new members and can offer excellent discounted membership for new members wishing to take up the outdoor game.
