RIVERAIN BOWLS CLUB
JUNIOR COACHING

Providing professional and accredited coaching to inspire the stars of the future

Riverain Bowls Club are proud to provide a professional and well established coaching session for anyone under age of 18 who is looking to take up the sport. The sessions run from 9.15am until 11.30am most Saturday mornings throughout the season (September to April) at a cost of just £4 per child per session

Our nationally qualified coaches combine both the improvement and development of bowling skills with an element of fun and enjoyment. As well as learning the basics of the game, there are competitions, fun and games and the chance to participate in the accredited English Indoor Bowling Association (EIBA) Awards scheme.
For the younger generation we have our own "County" award scheme ranging from Bronze level, through to Silver and Gold. Once a bowler has achieved the County Gold award, they can then progress through to the challenging EIBA scheme. This is difficult even for many top club bowlers be we have had a number of successes at the Gold Level.

Several of our current and former Junior Bowlers have achieved successes at Club, County level and National level and have also gone on to represent England on the International stage.
Besides winning both indoor and outdoor County finals, a number of the girls and boys have been active in the  club and county squads playing in highly competitive competitions. There have also been a number of Champions on the National Stage in both junior and senior competitions.
We have seen representatives both indoors and outdoors playing in the National under-18s, under-25s and the Senior squads for England.
