Congratultations to Tony Webb and Heather Stapleford who have qualified for the National Finals in the National Champions of Champions and will represent Riverain over the 30th and 31st of January at Dolphin IBC. Congratulations to Hayden Chambers who has qualified for the National Finals in Under 25 mens Singles and will represent Riverain over the 31st January and 1st February at Dolphin IBC. Good luck to all!

Riverain recorded fours wins out of four for another great weekend for the club. On Friday 14th November, the Ladies Mason Trophy team defeated Kempston 44-28. On Saturday 15th November, the Men's Denny Cup team recorded a 96-62 win over Luton and on the same day the Ladies Yetton trophy team recorded an 89-64 victory over Kempston. The winning run continued on Sunday 16th November with victory in the Egham Trophy with a 83-48 win over Luton. Congratulations to all the players and thanks to everyone who supported as it makes all the difference.

Three representatives from Riverain have been invited to trial for the EIBA Senior International team. Congratulations to Lloyd Sabatini, Alex Walton and Bradley Prowle. Great to see Riverain’s talented players being recognised at this level. Best of luck to you all

Riverain’s Sam Andrews and Rhianna Russell have been selected for an English Indoor Bowling Association’s Junior International trial. As young ambassadors of Riverain IBC and the future of the sport we wish them well.

Congratulations to Riverain’s Lloyd Sabatini for a great run to the Quarter Final in the World Bowls Tour Scottish International Open. Following impressive wins over Jamie Walker (World #9) and David Gourley MBE, Lloyd was beaten by Paul Foster MBE (World #4) at the Quarter Final stage. A fantastic achievement for Lloyd competing in a world class field. A great advocate for bowls and Riverain IBC.

Riverain Junior Kieran Smith has been invited to the EIBA Under 18 International Squad day to be held at St Neots & District Indoor Bowls Club on 9th November. Congratulation Kieran! Another endorsement of our successful junior coaching scheme supporting the stars of the future!

Riverain recorded a comprehensive 102-27 victory over Harpenden & District in the Prelimnary round of the National Egham Trophy on Sunday 19th October. The next round will take place on Sunday 2nd November against Kempston. All support welcome!
